Running GUI application on startup in VNC

Hi,

Here's my problem. I've got a File server, with no monitor, keyboard or mouse. it' locate at a server room in my office.

i used to loged in using VNC, opening two most application that i used (bittorrent client and limewire). both of this application could only be running in GUI.
Everyday, when people are finished theri work, the server will be turn off.
so everyday when i come to office i need to log on using vnc and launch the application.

is there anyway i could make this automatic?

i dont want to make auto login, because if someone get a monitor to this server, there will see what is happening.

thanks

see : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=489491
about getting vnc to startup

then your question becomes getting vnc to start YOUR display (i.e. not :0)
see : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi....php?p=2450791

now your question becomes automagically and starting your apps when your display starts. That depends on what desktop you are using.

actually, i've already successfully get the vnc server to start automatically. i can loged on from other machine on LAN.

the problem is, i want to do the auto log on as a specific user and then running some application automatically after loged on.

which is why I put in the second link :

which leads you to instructions on how to start a display automagically
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi....php?p=2450791

how to get the programs to start depends on which desktop you are using
