running a OSx app in Llinux can it be done?

I am running the Quickbooks Pro for MAC OSx on my iMAC and have yet to figure out a way to share that out to a linux workstation that i use as my P.O.S system. that is point of sale not piece of sh1t.

i do not like useing VNC as it works in OSx like it does in Windows and takes full controll of the active desktop. i am not willing to run a 2nd desktop in the background just to have QB up and running 24/7.

in the past i used a win2k server and just RDP from outside the office and from my POS system up front. linux was a great desktop for doing this. i would of stuck with linux 100% once i took my win2k server down, but was unable to get QB to properly install and run using crossover office. *shame* and the wife had a hissy fit when i tried to run an open source accounting software as she does not handle change well at all.

i liked it, but she does the books so had to make her happy. this is how i ended up with the iMAC. i refuse to run or manage windows any longer for my business or home.

i am asking if anyone knows of a way to run the OSx vs of QBs on my debian linux workstation. this way i would/should only have to share the data file for QB and not have to much to worry about.

thanks.

Unless you run a PowerPC version of Linux, no.

You can't emulate PPC on x86.

Like nonzero said, if you're running Linux on PPC, then you can run MacOS X on the Mac-on-Linux virtual machine.

Otherwise, you need to run Mac OS X on a PPC emulator like PearPC.
