i am connected to another pc far away using the command "ssh"
i want to run a program in that pc
..but i want to use a file located in my pc
My problem is that i dont know how to specify the path of my file (/home/peter/num.x)
to the other pc
you can't do that unless the filesystem is accessible on that machine. you would need to mount your local machine via nfs or some such equivalent. i assume you're expecting to be able to just say "localssh:/homne/user/file" or something without doing anything else. no that's not how it works.
