Rubber band in Qt Designer

I'm using Fedora core1, in that i tried Qt Designer programming tool with the help of "Quick Start" under Qt Designer manual.
In the manual in some places it is mentioned as "drag the rubber band", i don't know what is rubber band over there.
So anyone please help me in this regard

Thanks

What they mean in QT Designer by the "rubber band" is the selection box created when you click and hold the mouse button.

It's the dotted line box that appears, for instance, when you are trying to select multiple widgets in the design window by holding down the mouse button a dragging across all the widgets you want. Most documents call this a "select" or "selection" box.

Re: Rubber Band

Hi Joe
Thanks for providing information regarding Rubber Band.

Now i able to drag the rubber band so that it selects multiple widgets. Initially i made mistake by just clicking the dialog or label and not holding the mouse button.

Thankyou
