Rt3 (Request Tracker)+Mails

hi guys
i am planning to bring this rt3 for my lin. desktop to check whether my received mails have been read or not

i will just give it in flow

1) I will be receiving mails from different sources
2) some of the mails have been read or missed out really
3) to trace this i thought first let the mails get into rt3 and then give me the alert msg (like u received a mail)
4) if the mails have not been attended, let rt3 escalate this to my personal mail id (like forwarding).

is it possible,?

can anyone help to sort out howto go about...

regds
