rsync problem

Hello friends ,

I'm using rsync on redhat 4 to sync data with the windows box installed with cygwin and ssh.
after synchronizing some data rsync is getting hanged up not sure why is happening .
can anyone suggesst pls how to fix this problem.

Error messages or logs? Does killing and restarting work? Any other details you want to provide since your question with details provided are pretty vague?

some times killing and restarting works ..i do not see any error messages specific to rsync under /var/log/messages .But now even killing and sync doesnt work .

is it any bug in rsync .

Pls suggest what can i do

Have you tested this on more than one machine? My conclusion would be it's an issue with running rsync within cygwin, which is a piece of crap in my opinion.

in my case i have to use cygwin in order to use rsync between linux box's and windows boxs . is there any gud solution apart from cygwin.

Pls let me know if u need any more info

Here i'm using rsync on linux box get data from windows box.
