Hi
I got a server that has sshd bound to port 12345 and rsyncd bound to port 54321.
The server has my PC listed in its ssh authorized_keys so I can SSH in without giving a password.
I tried rsync'ing to that machine:
> rsync local_folder me.gotdns.com:~
1) The ssh known_host key it uses is different from the key I get when I SSH, so I got to remove the key from known_hosts to rsync after I SSHed and vice versa.
2) Am I supposed to pass --port=12345? Or --port=54321?
3) With either of those ports, it doesn't accept my password.
