rsync hanging

Hello,

since yesterday rsync is hanging when transfering files from server A to server B. It use to run smoothlu until now.
Note that it works fine locally on both servers (rsync v2.6.8).
A bugzilla bug report concerning this issue is closed and I have tried all the proposed solution with no success.

The following error is output:
Read from remote host xxxxxx: Connection timed out
rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4092 bytes: phase "send_file_entry" [sender]: Broken pipe (32)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (8 bytes received so far) [sender] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(359)

Thank you in advance for your answers!

hmmm.. is it really rsync that's making the problems or your network? how about trying to downgrade to the older versions while rsync is not yet fixed?

I had it with an older version and upgraded to the latest...no success.
It is really a rsync issue, and I am not the only one to have it.

perhaps you can try this rsync alternate: http://zsync.moria.org.uk/. maybe it can do the same things just like what rsync do.

thanks but zsync is a file distribution method...not what I am looking for...I need a solution to my problem, not a new soft.
Thanks anyway!
