rpms questions
Hi there
I have a version of linux(on my acer aspire one)that is based on fedora 8.I'm totally new to rpms and yum.How do i know which rpms to install to take care of dependencies if i wanted to install say the mplayer rpm from freshrpms?.I know i could use yum to install mplayer and this would take care of dependencies but the problem here is how do i tell yum to look in freshrpms first before it looks in another repo? i know so little of the redhat package managers that i don't know if these questions make sense. So please excuse my newbiehood
Thank you in advance
