rpm -Uvh --nodeps php-5.0xxxx did a mistake


hi

I was trying to upgrade the php using rpm -Uvh php-5.0.xxx in redhat 9 machine, without patience i did rpm -Uvh --nodeps php-5.0.xxx

now when i am restarting the webserver, all the php files are directly showing the codes

Can anyone help me to fix this issue

What version did you upgrade from? Have you made the appropiate changes in your httpd.conf file? Any more details you want to share so were not in the dark?

hi

thanks for the response

I upgraded from 4.2.2 which default comes along with shrike (RHL9)

i also included the .so file in httpd.conf
