Rpm rebuild for CentOS 5.5

Hi Friends,

I am customizing CentOS 5.5 and compiling RPMs from source rpms but some how things dont work as soon as I replace my new RPM in CentOS directory. At the time installation system barfs out and crashes saying "Package is corrupt or can not install"

I doubt there is some kind of integrity checking mechanism enabled for original RPMs but not sure where to check that and how to disable that?

has any one ever faced this issue?

Nothing here about whatever you changed, short-circuiting package building or your package building skills if any.

There's several terminal windows at your disposal which each display information. Gather, analyze, change, repeat.

Instead I suggest you put in an effort to understand the features available to you and learn to make them work to your advantage.
