rpm is troubling.........


hi,
i was trying to install .glade

rpm -qa "glade*'
this made me sure it`s not installed.
when i did :-

rpm -ivh glade2-2.6.rpm(not full name)
it says opackage already installed.
what could be the reason,
i mean at time of querry it says package not installe while installing says,package allready installed.
neede your help

rpm -qa "glade*'
that shows whether you have a program called glade* installed or not use

Code:
rpm -qa glade
instead, might work better (I don't use rpm, but that's what I think I remember)
