Angry rpm errors


hi there
i have mdk 8.2.everytime i try to install rpm's i get the following error:

error while loading shared libraries: librpm-4.0.3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

even rpmdrake dont works .howcan i have this problem fixed?
i have to say that when i try to update rpm i have deps problem
pls help me asap.updating from cd will solve the problem?

are you sure

that you have given the right path, and name of the file and that you
have the right to rwx them?
seems to be some sort of such a problem, to me.
