What does this mean?

"Rosegarden was not able to find high resolution timing source for midi performance. This may mean that you are using a Linux system with the kernel timer resolution set too low."

Any clues on this would be useful. I using Linux Mint (based on Ubuntu 7.10).

this is one of those warnngs that is only a problem if its a problem. otherwise ignore it.
