Root User Privilages
 
Dear Linux users,


I am using Linux Madrake community version 10 and would like to know how to get konquerer or any other GUI file management program working with root user privilages.

Open a terminal and run:

$ kdesu konqueror

Enter your root password when prompted and konqueror will come up with root privileges. After it comes up, hit F9 and the "Home" icon to get a more familiar looking konqueror screen.
