root-tail not displaying all the specified files

I've been playing with root-tail this evening, however, I can't make it work properly:
Code:
root-tail -g 800x800-400-400 -font fixed -reload 10 true /var/log/messages,blue /var/secure,red,'Alert' /var/log/Xorg.0.log,orange,'Xorg'
As the files are quite long, the end of the last file is only visible on the screen. Is it possible to display eg. the last 5 lines of each file so that all three of them were visible?

I know I could write 3 separate commands to display all three files, but it's not the best solution.
thanks

It's been awhile since I used it but, if memory serves, root-tail runs somewhat like a 'tail -f'. It'll show the last because that overwrites everything else. However, as new data is added to each log, they'll interleave in the specified colors as root-tail follows additions.

Ok, I see what you mean. I'll do some testing on other files. Thanks
