root login in proftpd

Hi All:

I would like to let the root ftp directly.

However, I am now using the proftpd.

What can I do in the config file?

Thanks.

well as you should know, you shouldn't do such a thing, but if you really have to, just
edit the /etc/ftpusers file and remove the line that says "root" from the file ...

FTP is sent over as plain text. You do realize this is a very bad security risk, anyone smart could get root access and exploit your system. I'd advise not to allow root access and expecially not allow direct root login over any remote connection.. why would you need such access anyways?
