Question root access from W2K to SAMBA share

When my W2K client first tries to access a SAMBA shared directory it asks for USER/PASSWD authentication. No problem, except that it wont accept for "root/*******". When I use my plain user account it's just dandy - but without the root priv's I need.

Where do I look & what do I do to fix this? TIA!

You can give your windows user administrator rights on that samba share.
admin users = your_user in smb.conf (within your share definition)
