Roaming User?


I did...

adduser nova
passwd nova

etc....

how do i give this user full rights via shell and ftp so it can read, wrtie etc all directories?

Errrrr... ummm My question is why would you want to give a "user" full permission? you wont want to beable to write in any other driectorys but /home ... If a virus ever infected your box you could easly fix it if your user was restricted to its home driectory.. it would be easyer for a virus to make in impact if it can read and write into driectorys like /etc/ /usr and /bin
because why would you want to write in these driectorys?
