rivafb module interferes with nividia....

Hi All,

I recently installed slack10 and i am trying to get my nvidia driver installed. When i first installed it it said that i had a module installed called rivafb which conflicted with nvidia. Upon doing a bit of investigating (lsmod)I cannot find any module by the name of rivafb. Is there anyway of doing a quick check to see if its installed right.........

Also when i run bzflag i get this message...:

root@lub0:/home/lub0# /home/plu/Prms/bzflag/usr/bin/bzflag
/home/plu/opp/bzflag/usr/bin/bzflag: /usr/lib/ no version information available (required by /home/data-mp3/Programs/bzflag/usr/bin/bzflag)
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Can't create window. Exiting.

here is the output from lsmod:

root@lub0:/home/lub0# lsmod

In my case it says rivafb taints kernel, and reminds the user that rivafb is set as a loadable module. If it isn't loaded its no problem, it just reminds the user that it could lead to a problem. As long as it's not loaded, you'll still get that message, but it should not interfere.
