Ripping CDs with Grip

Hi there. Can someone help me with configuring Grip, please? I have got 2 CD drives on my PC, but Grip is using for ripping CDs the slower one. So how would I setup (default) Grip to use the other (faster) drive? And second question. Why is paranoia so slow? Even with the slower drive, in Windoze the ripping program (Audigrabber) is running like at 10x speed but in Linux it's like 1x speed. Can I setup Paranoia to rip faster or I should use other ripper? Thanks for any help and sorry for my english.

By default grip uses /dev/cdrom for its device (and the man page says). So to change it you can either:

(1) Change the symlink to point /dev/cdrom at the other drive

or

(2) edit the source of grip and compile your own version
