Rip DVD To OGV
I have some yoga and tai chi dvd's that I would like to take the workout sections and have them on my computer as ogv files. I want to be able to put them on my netbook so I have have them when I travel and not have to worry about dvd's and finding a player.
I know k9copy will do this into an avi file, but I would like to have them as ogv files. Plus the avi files are massive. I tried using ffmpeg2theora to convert the avi file but the sound was off. I can't seem to find a way to get k9copy to do it directly to ogv files. Anyway I can do this with k9copy or any other program? Thank you. |
Could you be a bit more specific as to what file format and codecs you want to use. I know for sure you can use ffmpeg or mencoder on the CLI.

Sorry I have not replied to my own post. Life has been very busy lately. Anyway, I have found that vlc will do what I am wanting. I will give ogmrip a try as well.
Thank you! |
