Rhythmbox crappy playback
 

Hi guys,

i sintalled rhythmbox to give it a try. i like how it sotrs the music to Artists or styles. but the playback is bad. so in the beginning when i start playing a file, it sounds very good. but then maybe after 15-20 sec, i hear that crazy noise , which i don't hear with XMMS or MPlayer. i was just wondering if you have any ideas, what might be wrong ?

What version of gstreamer are you using? My playback quality was poor until I upgraded to 0.6.4

i am using 0.6.4 too!

Since you are running Slackware, try the packages here. Get rhythmbox, gstreamer, and gst-plugins.
