Rhythm Box? How to Rip?

I think I've already done something like this, but I'm getting old and can't remember. I somehow managed to 'Rip' some CDs into Rhythm Box when I first loaded 'Mint' into my machine. Now I can't remember how I did it, to Rip it, and now I can't even get it to play a CD. I'm really dismayed because it seems I have to learn lots of stuff with Linux that I'd become instinctively used to with 'XP'. I just might not be the type person anymore to be willing to dig and read and click and read and dig and, well, I just thought I'd let you know. Whoever you are. Sorry.

As far as I recall, Rhythmbox doesn't rip CDs on its own. If you can do it through Rhythmbox, then it will be running another programme to do the ripping for it.

On my PC, I use sound-juicer. It's been a while since I used Mint, so I can't remember how to install software off the top of my head, but in Ubuntu the package is confusingly named just "Audio CD Extractor". But running "sudo apt-get install sound-juicer" in the terminal should install it if it's not already installed
