RHL installation

I'm a new to Linux. But I used mandrake some time back.Recently I bought redhat shrike-iso 3Xcd's but i could not instal this OS yet.I create boot image and pc boot up nicely but it cannot find os system files in CD iso image.Can linux expert guide me to install RH9 from this shrike iso cds.

Not sure what you did in your burning process, but a couple of things to check:

1. Did you check the md5sum hash to make sure the iso's you downloaded are correct?
2. You did select "burn image" or something equivalent in your burning program right? Don't burn it as regular data.
3. Another way you check if files are present in your iso's is by using isobuster or winiso. Extract the images and check if you see files

RHL installation

CD 1 have following files and folders.
autoboot,fips15c,fips20,fipsdocs,rawritewin,autoboot,copying,cygwin1.dll,fips,gzip,loadin,loadin16,r awrite,rawrite3,rdev,readcd,readme,restrrb
Redhat and some more. I think this what I want for installation.Can you guide me.

Can you boot from the CD?

If so, assuming RK7.3 is like more recent products, the installer should come up and off you go.
