RH 9.0 Kernel 2.4.20-8 Mount (NTFS error)


Linux floresta 2.4.20-8 #1 Thu Mar 13 17:54:28 EST 2003 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I tried a mount:

mount -t ntfs /dev/hdd2 /export/windows
mount: fs type ntfs not supported by kernel

I added /etc/fstab
/dev/hdd2 /export/windows ntfs defaults 0 0



Any help mates? TIA

ntfs support isn't usually built in by default.
its really only read only though. anyway,
build a kernel and select ntfs under filesystems.

Try this link for NTFS support. Read the instructions carefully before doing anything.
