RH 7.3 install on a Dell 670 w/ Serial ATA

As you can imagine this has become an issue, I have installed RH 7.3 onto a Dell 670 platform with a single Serial ATA drive. It is the ICHP5 chipset also and is causing issues with booting indipendently from the floppy boot disk.

The system will not boot fully when attempting to boot from the drive but it will boot when the floppy is installed. The error I receive when it boot from the drive is the kernel error asking to try to push the init to the kernel. Is there a fix to this so it will boot indipendently from the floppy?? I have looked for kernel updates, Intell fixes you name it Ihave tried to find it.

If any one has a fix for this outside of RHE 3 which is on its way I must get this up and running to support programs.
