Hi, i'm running Redhat 9, on a celleron 2.4 GHz, w/ 768MB of ram...

The issue occurs while recording in rezound. When it's recording, you have a time counter, and a megabytes counter for the size of the .rez sound file your recording. During recording, both counters pause briefly about every 5-10 seconds. When it stops, it seems to stop all recording and pick up when the counters start again. This problem makes my recordings 'jump' every 5-10 seconds during playback(for a while there i thought i just didn't have rythm). Is this a common problem w/ rezound or linux? (newb sorry) Any help is appreciated, thx!

I would also like to add that i originally tried using redhat's sound-recorder program(shudders) before resortint to rezound for recording, the sound-recorder app would record/playback w/o these issues, but it liked to crash and didn't like to save anything... a real POS in my opinion.
