I have a folder that contains all of my old e-mails. I have placed this folder in the .thunderbird mail store location in my profile, but it's not picking it up. I first imported mail from Outlook before I scrapped Windows, then backed up this resulting folder which appears to have all of my old emails. Here's the path to the folder I copied over:

Somewhere I went wrong I guess cause' it's not displaying the mail, even after restarting Thunderbird.
