resume downloads in apollon??

my installation went smooth, I've got the 4 plugins going, gift is working fine but I've got half a dozen downloads started that I can't complete!

I've never found any documentation and I'd really like to know how it finds the files again. When I do a new search I find the file I've started but can't hit 'Download' because it is already in my list. In my transfers I hit 'Find more sources' but it doesn't seem to find any!

I deleted a partial transfer then went back and added the same file - that is the same hash and file size - and it started downloading at over 100 kb/s!! but of course I lost this one at 85% as well!!

I haven't seen this problem in any other threads. Does anyone know something that they can share with me??
