Hi Everyone,

At present my 14 year old does not have internet access at home. However, I would now like her to access one website for maths tuition.

She has a Windozes laptop and an android tablet. I have a linux laptop running Opensuse 13.1 and an android tablet.

My thoughts so far are to set her up as a user on my laptop. I would then have to lock down the access to any programs apart from Firefox. And then allow only the one website.

I know it is possible to set up another user, (now I have said it, I am having 2nd thoughts) but can I restrict internet access to one website?

I might be tempted to make a hosts file with the single web page url and ip. Remove any dns lookup.

You could whitelist only that ip address in iptables I think or maybe ipset.
