Restrict cookie reading to one page

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if there was some sort of an application or plugin for firefox that could restrict pages to only accessing cookies from their own pages.

As I understand any advertising company for example doubleclick can access their cookies from any other website where they advertise and this can be used for data profiling.

I hope I explained this clearly enough... and its in the right forum.

Like Google analytics?

If there is not a plugin, you can help out by making one!

You can deny all cookies and selectively be prompted for them for only certain sites. When prompted for a "doubleclick" cookie, select no. Also make sure that you disable "Accept 3rd Party Cookies" if that option exists.

Also look at the noscript plugin.
