Restoring Evolution, Pan?

I had a drive go flaky, today. After a lengthy fsck, most of the files are readable, but the installation of CentOS 5 will boot, but even root logins fail.

I'm now running on a new installation of CentOS 5, with the old disk mounted so I can copy files from it.

What files do I need to copy to carry over my email? I'm using Evolution as a mail reader.

What files do I need to copy to carry over my usenet configuration? I'm using Pan as a news reader.

What do I need to copy over to preserve my Firefox settings, favorite links, etc.?

I had almost the same problem except I was using Thunderbird instead of evolution and all I did was copy the hidden Mozilla file and Thunderbird files in my old home directory to my new one. They are the ones that start with a period which makes them hidden. As for Pan though, I'm not sure.
