restore configuration


allo
i was trying to compile some stufs and things went bad
anyone now i restore my configuration from yesterday

Do you mean how to restore your configuration? What are distro you using, what did you do, more details please.

i using ubunto
i was install wine then sudenly a lot of folder appears in my /home/my folder with ./(name of folder)

all the new folders are preogras just like amsn skype k9copy ...

it can be that the folders are just part of wine or was already there before wine but you only noticed them now. do you want to uninstall wine? have you already tried to?

are you taking about the .programname folders? If so, those are hidden directories and contain your user's configuration files for those programs. You would be wise not to delete those, and to just check the option in your file explorer to hide hidden folders.
