I have configure my DNS and its able to work. I hav even configured a mail server for that DNS. Now when am giving the ServerName field as the DNS,i mean www.host.com, its not working. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance
ok, so the DNS and web server are on the same machine and presumably you are trying to access your web sever only from within the local network (192.168....) or from on the same machine, right?
You should be able to bring up a browser on that same machine and retrieve web pages using either the host name, 192.168.24.6 and 127.0.0.1. If not, I'd suspect a web server configuration issue. Also try netstat -ln to see if the web server is up and listening on port 80.
