Question resizing the linux partition


hi... i installed redhat 8.0 a while ago... and i gave it 10 gigs on my HD... i wanted to know if it's possible to reduce the hd space it has to about 3-4 gigs without formatting/uninstalling linux???

the majority of the install is various rpms. you can try `rpm -qa | less` to see what you can get rid off. do `rpm --erase [program name]` to remove it...watch for dependencies.
