resetting th root password on rh9
 

hi i have a rh9 machine and it is setup for workstation. how can i reset the root password. some retard reset my password. i need help,

No offense meant, but if others can reset your root
password that makes YOU the retard.

That said:

Boot into single mode (on the boot loaders prompt add
single as a parameter to the kernel) ... depending on the
distro you may find yourself logged in as root, and can
easily passwd ...

If that fails it's a bit more complicated... :)

this is a bit more specific in the instructions.

edit: well, do tink's after trying this as i have a feeling you didn't do something right.
