Replicate file shares for redundant servers?

Hi I pickup up some 2 dell servers today at $400 apiece with 2 gig ram and 250 gb hard drive. This was cheaper than building a fancy raid box and will be better if the motherboard on 1 fails.

My plan is to make them fully redundant file servers. I know how to set up Samba to make a file server, but how do I set them up to backup to the other server and if the one file server goes offline to have the other server step in and start serving files without any down time?

Thanks
