Question replay HD (HighDefinition) clips


Hello folks, i need software running on linux..to replay HD (HighDefinition) clips...
Do anybody knows such thing?

What are those? 30-, or even 50- or 60-fps videos? Or 10240x7680px videos? Or 32-million-color videos?

Sorry. I know what the H.D. words mean, but it means a hell of a lot of things depending on the context, and I had absolutely no clue you were speaking about HDTV. Now it makes more sense

Yet I fail to see how a HD video is different from an ordinary video, except it is bigger and optionally "faster" (fps), thus requiring more CPU power. All the rest should depend on the audio and video codecs being used.

Anyway, I'm glad you have your solution, whatever that is... Bye,
