replacement for amarok/juk/rhythmbox?

Does anyone know of a jukebox program that's similar to amarok, juk and rhythmbox, in that it makes a database out of your music folders, and allows you to query the database for music, instead of manually opening files (like XMMS)??

I am trying to build a slimmed-down system, and i don't want to rely on any kdelibs (ruling out juk and amarok) and I find rhythmbox to be *painfully* static (virtually no configuration options)

thanks!

MPD!!!!!!!!!!
It's a music server, you set that up (super easy) and then run one of the lovely clients available from the same site to access your library and play music. if it's lightweight you want, install MPD and the ncmpc client, it's a CLI client, uses ncurses but has a very usable interface, rivals most GUI apps that I use

awesome... i'll check that out (although i will probably try and find a GUI client)

what about Zinf? I'm checking out their website, and it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for (*note SEEMS, as I haven't tried it yet) except for the lack of flac support, but the few flac's i have i can play in something else.

Has anyone used Zinf? Testimonials anyone?
