replace xfce taskpanel with gnome-taskpanel?
 

I read on osnews that the xfce taskpanel, can be replaced with gnome-taskpanel, and that the gnome taskpanel was less obtrusive, and more functional.

The way the osnews article showed to replace the taskpanel does not seem t apply to my version of xfce. I am using version 4.0.6. I have debian 3.1 testing, and that's what installed when I used aptitude.

Anybody have any idea how I can replace my xfce taskbar?
