Replace installer background/second splash
Hello everyone,

After making serval great remasters/live iso's with systemback, i have one question left. I really would like to change the background image when the Boot system installer option is chosen.

I did however replace the splah.png with a custom one as you can see here:

But i would like to have the same image in the background when system install runs instead of the standard image as shown here:

I searched everywhere i could find any locations or file acording to systemback but i just cant find it the location to replace the image. Can anyone tell me the location of the image as shown in the installer screenshot? And/or tell me how i can modify this background? That would be so great. Thanks.

Hi & Welcome to Linux Questions.

You can use Grub Customizer to place any picture/image that you want in your Grub Menu.

I haven't ran Ubuntu in a long time but I think the image is somewhere in the /boot directory.

Thanks for replying, however the grub image was not the issiue here. I was refering to the systemback installer background. However i did got a clear answer of the developement team:

Unfortunately the full-screen window background is not an image file, only the Systemback logo in the bottom right corner (but it is hard-coded, so it is not changeable).

It does not solve my problem. Altough it is not such a matter anyways. It cannot be changed.

Sorry to hear that the background can not be changed.

When I saw the pic of the Grub Menu it made me think of Grub Customizer; sorry I misunderstood.
