Repeated Error with C compiler
"configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH"
I get this message every now and then trying to install packages. Im on Fedora Core3, and basically Im trying to install VLC. I am required to have all of these libcdio packages installed already and am running into trouble. What is wrong with my C compiler?

I expect that if you were given options of what to install when you installed Fedora, you probably didn't choose to install development software? You should go back and install lots of the development stuff: gcc, make, autotools, etc
