Repair Install
 

I am using Red Hat 9.0 and now when I boot up my computer it comes up with a blank screen with two options...I can either choose "YES" or "NO" there are now words at all on the screen.
If I choose "YES" it says..."Failed to load module bitmap (module does not exist, 0) then when I exit that screen it says "Couldn't start X server".

Is there something I can do to get past this or is there a kind of Repair Install I can do without having to format and reload everything.

I did switch some permissions around on the Root folder and I got all this mess after I logged out and tried logging back in. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Now when I reboot I can atleast get into kind of a command screen, but I have no idea what commands I need to run.
