Repackge RPM

Hi,
Is it possible to repackage the files already installed by a rpm to a rpm.
eg. xmms-1.0.rpm contains
/bin/xmms
/lib/libxmms.d.so

if i don't have xmms-1.0.rpm and isn't it possible to recreate it from the existing files?

However, as the man page says repackage option (though its name) serves a different purpose.

TIA

Have a look at

Quote:
rpmrebuild.noarch : A tool to build rpm file from rpm database
But don't expect too much.
