Unhappy removing grouppackages with yum

i am new to linux i have fc3 i used the install dvd to add applications but it didnt work it said packages not found after that i use yum and its servers werent working and neither were the repos i was adding after a lot of work and trying different things i got my repos to work by commenting out everything in the dag.repo i added some programming tools i tried to use yum to add some dependencies and i think i added things i didnt need because that didnt work my computer has been running slow and gaim has been unstable always crashing and reconnecting i think my linux partition is getting too full because its slower and my hard drives not that big i need to get rid of some group packages i tried to get rid of "server configuration tools" with yum it gave me this error

Error: missing dep: /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession for pkg kdebase
Error: missing dep: xinitrc >= 0:3.33-1 for pkg gdm
Error: missing dep: xinitrc for pkg xorg-x11
Error: missing dep: xorg-x11-libs = 6.8.1-12.FC3.21 for pkg xorg-x11-devel
Error: missing dep: xinitrc >= 3.13 for pkg xorg-x11-xdm
Error: missing dep: kdebase >= 6:3.3.1 for pkg kdeaddons
Error: missing dep: /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess for pkg kdebase
Error: missing dep: kdeutils = 6:3.3.1-1 for pkg kdeutils-devel
