Removing Google Earth?

I downloaded and installed Google Earth 3 weeks ago which works OK but it dumped too much junk in my /home/ directory. I would love to just remove the app since I hardly use it and sad to say www.local.live.com has better images and is web based - even though it is a MS site.

Can someone tell me what the proper process is to 100% remove the app and all it's config files and what not...
