Removing GNOME

I've just switched to KDE and I like to remove GNOME. I went to the Add/REmove packages but I could not see a checkbox anymore. How do i uninstall GNOME now? I need to save disk space.

You can remove GNOME using rpm. Use this command:

rpm -qa | sort | less

to get a list of all of your packages. Then you can remove the GNOME packages with:

rpm -e packagename

Try to work your way through the Gnome packages so that you don't create missing dependency problems.
