remove group RPMs from a DVD
 

I need to remove unnecessary RPMs from a CentOS 5.1 DVD to save space for some homemade RPMs. How would I remove all the RPMs associated with KDE/GNOME? I know when you have an install you can do a yum group install/group remove to remove packages.. But how would I remove all the RPMs OFF the DVD.


I hope I am explaining this right...

Ive searched LQ and google and can't seem to find a easy way to do this.

I need to free up about 1.5-2 GBs off the DVD so I can add out custom RPMs.

I ended up removing all kde* all gnome* fonts* and some other misc packages and freed up an extra 2.1 GB.
