Smile remove evolution-alarm evolution-data daemons

hiya,

i'm just trying to free up some memory and noticed evolution-alarm and evolution-data running in the background. they appear to both use 60megs each which seems like a bit of a waste to me as i don't use evolution mail. are these processes dependencies of any other programs?

what i want to know is what is the best way to remove them? i would like to avoid simply removing evolution.

anyway, hope you can help.

many thanks,

mike

I think you need to remove them from your GNOME session. Desktop -> Preferences -> Sessions -> Start Up Programs.
